Apprenticeship Good Practice and Knowledge Exchange

Description

The conference was a platform from which to showcase the vibrant and dynamic practice which supports the apprenticeship portfolio at Northumbria. The event celebrated the collaborative achievements of academics, employers and professional support staff. The event was equally of interest to those who were new to apprenticeships, as well as though already involved in apprenticeships but would like to know more.

The conference included, but not limited to, sessions on co-production with employers, what makes a good apprenticeship, the unique features of an apprenticeship curricula, understanding safeguarding and prevent, preparing apprentices for end point assessments, and design assessments to ensure knowledge, skills and behaviours are captured.
