Best Practice Perspective - Degree Apprenticeships

Activity: Participating in or organising an eventOrganising a conference, workshop, ...

Description

Since the Richard Review (2012), there has been a rapid period of change within the apprenticeship arena. With an increasing focus on high quality provision, professional alignment and increasing accessibility to produce a different kind of professional for the future, Higher Education is challenged to respond to provide these new Degree/Higher Apprenticeship programmes. This journey has been not been easy, highlighting the need for: new processes; new contracts; increased agility and different delivery modes; new kinds of tripartite arrangements, and innovative pedagogy principles to mention just a few. This mini-conference brought together 15 UK wide HEIs, employers, students and PSRB's to review lessons learned and develop a best practice approach to the delivery and governance of degree apprenticeships.
