Description
The Leaders in Learning and Teaching Programme builds on the Development Programme for Directors of Learning and Teaching that was previously run by the ABS. Whilst retaining the same principles of participation and networking, the new course will be targeted at an expanded group which, in addition to new directors of learning and teaching, includes individuals taking on programme level and functional responsibilities and those with an interest in pedagogical scholarship.1.1 Aims of the programme
1. To position ABS as a leader in the development and training for learning and teaching practitioners in Business Schools
2. To provide career development and support for academics who have an interest in or responsibilities for researching and managing in learning and teaching within the UK and overseas
3. To provide a recognised programme underpinning personal and institutional learning and teaching career paths within UK business schools
4. To further enhance the reputation for excellence in learning and teaching in UK Business Schools and the recognition of this as a critical competitive driver in the international market
