Description
Growing inequality, economic stagnation and the rise of the populist right are placing enormous pressure on our democratic institutions. But there are evidence-based policy solutions that can address the pressing problems. At the Common Sense Policy Group, we bring together academics, policymakers, third sector leaders, community representatives and people with lived experience to build a credible, costed and popular programme for progressive government.Matthew will be discussing our vision for a new social contract, our detailed work on Basic Income, and the socioeconomic determinants of health, joined in discussion by Monash Arts' Dr Ben Eltham.
