Infrastructural Solutions to Regional Transportation Problems

Activity: Talk or presentationInvited talk

Description

Insights North East hosted a seminar on Wednesday 25 June with Dr Michael Glass of University of Pittsburgh, who spoke about “Infrastructural Solutions to Regional Transportation Problems”.

It was part of the INE “lessons learned from” series, with Michael’s talk drawing on research he’s been undertaking on infrastructure planning and governance in Northern Appalachia, US.

I was one of three panel members invited to respond to the presentation, and to then engage in wider discussion with the audience, reflecting on the lessons it offers policymakers, planners, practitioners (and academics) in the North East.
