INTERFACE: The RIBA Education and Practice Away Day

Invited participant to INTERFACE: The RIBA Education and Practice Away Day.

The away day provided an opportunity for those from across the architectural sector to discuss, debate and contribute to a shared ambition for the future of the profession. The day was divided into the following sections: 

1) Practice focus: What does Architectural Practice need from Architectural Education?
2) Education reform: Input from ARB and RIBA
3) Reflection: The experience of students in practice – A film of student voices
4)  Education focus: What does Architectural Education need from Architectural Practice?
5) Activism: Improving Support for Architectural Education

The event opened up to the wider sector a number of  common topics which emerged  from an earlier virtual roundtable discussion and centred on the interface between education and practice,  and the importance of the reciprocal relationship between both.
