WEBINAR ON "TEACHING ARCHITECTURE"
Teaching of architecture is a complex phenomenon. There is no fixed method for architectural teaching, but there are many models. What means should be adopted depends a lot on context, location, curriculum length, objective of a particular school etc. There is also the need to connect studio teaching with theory courses. The teacher therefore has to combine his or her education, experience, skills and expertise in order to address a clear purpose.
Institutional training on teaching of architecture in our country is very limited. IAB is pleased to announce that a webinar on “Teaching Architecture” is being organized for benefit of the young teachers of architecture. It is intended for junior teachers to gain from the experience of those who have had substantial experience in teaching architecture. It is also for them to share their experiences and raise issues those need to be addressed.
