    Does a divide exist between community residencies and contemporary arts practice? Do they have a different value? What is the difference? We propose an event to unpack these questions and find a middle ground: A day of creative dialogue, where a mix of people explores the language, integrity, intent, status, politics and judgements of aesthetic value surrounding community engaged work; an event for artists, curators, cultural programmers, project participants and community partners.


    Our aim is to create a platform to bring fresh relevance to this invaluable debate.
