Description
To develop the universities strategic business connections, I submitted applications for two prominent business figures, Caroline Theobald CBO and Richard Swart DL, who were awarded Visiting Professorships. Since in post, we have arranged a high profile visit by the Assistant-Secretary General of the Commonwealth, Prof Luis Franceschi and Chair of Walmart Africa, Kuseni Dlamini (Oct 2024) to discuss closer engagement with commonwealth countries, and drive industry connections in pursuit of 'Northumbria University 2030
