Description

CPD for Construction and Housing Educators This sprint activity will involve designing and developing a CPD-ready programme, integrating Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) principles for effective professional development, specifically for construction teachers and trainers. The programme will be published through the CTEC by March 2026, with a strong focus on classroom and learner management, pedagogical knowledge, inclusive and differentiated teaching, and innovative approaches. The CPD will cover evidence-based teaching methods to enhance learner engagement, skill acquisition, and progression. Programmes will be co-designed with experienced educationalists and learning & development professionals to ensure teaching methods are evidence-informed, practical, engaging, and impactful. The programme will also provide guidance for integrating industry knowledge into teaching practice, supporting teachers transitioning from industry backgrounds.
