    Description

The Wear to Now? The Changing Shape of Sustainable Fashion Revolution exhibition displays specific fashion projects that have been created, designed and run by academic staff and students.

It is an opportunity for fashion students to showcase their ideas and work-in-progress across three different briefs, designed to question consumer attitudes, habits and mind-sets. The exhibition is split into four areas:
    - Northumbria University X Fashion Revolution - showcase of work by BA Fashion Communication students (L5) showing promotional brand campaigns designed to influence and inspire consumers to embrace sustainable fashion thinking and conscious consumption, in response to their live brief with social enterprise, Fashion Revolution.
    - Fashion Tent project, by BA Fashion students (L4) focusing on repurposing 20 abandoned tents from Leeds Festival
    - work by BA Fashion Design and Marketing students centred around campaigns for modifying and adapting consumer behaviour.
    - 'Re-focus on Fibres' section features research from a number of academic staff and researchers from the School of Design, illustrating the research–teaching nexus at work and the real need to embrace knowledge-building opportunities and to contribute collaboratively and collectively to a more sustainable future.

The exhibition is open to the public.

It is part of an international series of events in connection with Fashion Revolution Week 2019.
