Description
Second livestream of a series of live streams explaining the details of RNA Sequencing data analysis. The R language for statistical computing was used to download the Saccharomyces cerevisiae genome, transcriptome, and known SNPs from Ensembl. A publicly available paired-end RNA Sequencing data set from the Sequence Read Archive (SRA) was used to develop and test our computational pipeline in R. Steps taken in an RNA Sequencing analysis such as: read trimming, alignment, as well as further steps like duplicate removal and use of the GATK for base re-calibration was shown and explained.Period | 23 Oct 2022 |
