The evidence submitted to the Ministry of Justice independent review speaks to four key themes outlined in the call for evidence, these are Theme 1: Key outcomes, risks and opportunities; Theme 6: Rehabilitation and Reducing Reoffending; Theme 7: Women’s Prisons; and Theme 9: Technology and Digital Tools. Recommending that the prison system would be best placed to transition towards a multi-agency, continuity of care and support framework to ensure sustainability and better public outcomes.
