Description of impact
This UK clinical guideline, first published in 2012, made a recommendation that patients with intermittent claudication should be offered a 3-month supervised exercise programme as a first-line therapy. A 2009 study by Tew et al. was one of 12 studies that were cited in the evidence synthesis that informed this recommendation.Category of impact | Health and welfare, Practitioners and professional services |
