Uncovering of historically significant evidence in John Vanbrugh's 18th century masterpiece, Seaton Delaval Hall. The research relates to the painted scheme in the kitchen which was previously hidden from sight by layer of household paint. By using modern conservation and scientific methods details of the architectural designs are being revealed and deciphered. The work is being revealed to the public.
