Description of impact
Drawing on the findings of research about Universal Credit, commissioned by Gateshead Council, we worked with Cap-a-Pie theatre company to produce a play informed by the experiences of UC claimants and staff supporting them. The live performances were cancelled due to COVID but we showed a virtual rehearsed reading followed by a panel discussion and live Q&A for members of the public. A film about the process including interviews with stakeholders in Gateshead has been made and is available here https://www.cap-a-pie.co.uk/credit/.Category of impact | Public discourseand understanding |
