Biography

I am a Lecturer in department of computer and information sciences at Northumbria University, Newcatle, United Kingdom. From September 2019 until April 2020, I was a Lecturer in computer science at Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham, United Kingdom. From 2017-2019, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher in distributed and mobile systems research group working with Professor Antti Ylä-Jääski in department of computer science at Aalto University, Espoo, Finland. I received my Ph.D in computer science from the school of electrical engineering and computer science at Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), Gwangju, South Korea in 2017. My PhD advisor was Professor Kiseon Kim. Before joining GIST, I did a Master in Computer Engineering at Azad University, South Tehran and a B.Sc in the same field at Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman, Iran. My personal webpage can be found at the following link: https://sites.google.com/site/abbasmehrabiiaust/
