Research interests
Adam is a Leverhulme funded PhD research student interested in the social and cultural implications of transport infrastructure on 20th century Tyneside. Adam seeks to deploy archival and oral history approaches to understanding the influence transport has had on quotidian experiences of residents of the region. Having studied both architecture and curating, Adam has a multifaceted understanding of infrastrastructure and urban development and is keen to explore interdisciplinary techniques of disseminating work such videography, sound design and exhibition making alongside written communication.
