Benjamin Olusola Ajibade is a Registered Nurse, Sign Off Mentor, a Registered Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Teacher, a Senior Lecturer in Nursing and Senior Fellow Higher Education Academy. He has made a sustained contribution to both general and mental health nurse education at national and international levels, which have had a demonstrable impact on practice development. His primary research interest is in the field of Dementia and Care of the Older person. He developed a narrative “My Life Story” book and an innovative care pathway for older people diagnosed with dementia in in-patient ward settings, which has been widely disseminated and received in practice. He was awarded the “Amazing Teachers Award” in 2015 by the University of Sunderland for being the best overall teacher at the London campus.
