Catherine has a growing profile related to peer review publications and research related income, and was recently the recipient of the Jean Davies Award from the Iolanthe Midwifery Trust for tackling health inequalities in maternity care.
Catherine is a member of the Northern Maternity Stream Research Network, which aims to improve the maternity experiences of migrant women. The network works with partners across Europe including Germany, Czech Republic and Italy.
