Personal profile


Chongfeng Wei is a Senior Lecturer at Northumbria University. Before he joined Northumbria, he was a research fellow at University of Leeds (UoL), and now he continually keeps robust collaboration links with UoL and SJTU. Chongfeng received his PhD from University of Birmingham, after which he extended his research interests from Vehicle Dynamics to Intelligent Vehicles and Dynamic Modelling of Mechanical Systems. Chongfeng's current research interest is mainly in Decision Making and Control of Intelligent Vehicles, Human-centric Autonomous Driving, Cooperative Automation and Dynamics and Control of Mechanical Systems. Chongfeng has published over 30 papers in the high quality peer-reviewed journals and conferences, including four ESI highly cited papers. He also serves as an Associate Editor of IEEE Open Journal of Intelligent Transportation Systems, and Guest Editor for several peer-reviewed journals.
