Research interests

I am an Economist with research interests in health economics and health econometrics involving:

  • Development and application of microeconometric models to the  financing and organisation of health and social care, the health and social care workforce and influences on health and health behaviours.
  • Microeconometric analysis using large linked health and social care dataset.
  • Evaluation involving natural experiments in population health.
  • Developing models of economic evaluation, including models for cost-effectiveness analysis, cost analysis, cost-consequences, system based budget-impact analysis, break-even analysis, and social returns on investment analysis.
