Dr Eda Ulus (she/her) is a Senior Lecturer in Organisational Behaviour, in the Leadership and Human Resource Management Department, Newcastle Business School. 

Eda completed her PhD under the supervision of Professor Yiannis Gabriel.  She has taught, supervised, and served as personal tutor for undergraduate and postgraduate students in the UK, and she taught and advised undergraduate students in Turkey and the United States.  Organisational experiences in the US also include student pastoral support, academic counselling, programme management, and research assistant.

Eda’s research and teaching interests include:

• Introversion in learning and working
• Inequalities at work
• Migration and borders
• Psychological investments in the discourse of solidarity
• Creative methods in teaching such as poetry and dance

Eda is passionate about research-led teaching and inclusion in the classroom.  Her educational philosophy includes the understanding that working conditions of staff, are the learning conditions of our students.
