Biography

Emilio Carnevali's research interests are Macroeconomic Modelling, International Finance, and the History of Economic and Political Thought.
He holds a PhD in Economics (University of Leeds, UK; Full-Time Leeds Anniversary Research Scholarship), a MSc in Economics (with Distinction, University of Leeds, UK; UK/EU Excellence Scholarship), a BSc in Economics (Summa Cum Laude, Roma Tre University, Italy), a MA in Philosophy (Summa Cum Laude, Sapienza University of Rome, Italy) and a BA in Philosophy (Summa Cum Laude, Sapienza University of Rome, Italy).
He has worked as an economist at the Department for Work and Pensions (UK Government) from 2017 to 2020. Previously, he has worked for several years in Italy as an editor and economics journalist for national newspapers and magazines.
