Biography

Dr Fakhrul Hasan has been teaching for a number of years now at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. He taught a number of different universities before joining the Northumbria University in January 2023. Fakhrul Hasan has completed his BA (hons.) in Accounting from University of Hertfordshire and PhD in Finance from Keele university in 2019. Fakhrul has been active in doing research in the area of Accounting and Finance. He has published a number of research papers in various internationally reputed journals including, Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Technology Forecasting and Social Changes, Journal of Applied Accounting Research, Global Journal of Flexible Systems Management, International Journal of Managerial and Financial Accounting, Electronic Commerce Research. Fakhrul Hasan working as Editor in Chief in Reporting and Accountability Review Journal. He is also working as Associate Editor in Qualitative Research in Financial Markets and Discover Sustainability Journal.

Research interests

My research interest covers: Behavioural Finance, Corporate Finance, Merger and acquisition, Dividend policy, Banking, Public Finance and FinTech.
