Jamie is a Senior Research Assistant with the Department of Applied Sciences at Northumbria University and a member of the HBBE and part of the Living Construction research group. He has a Bachelor of Sciences in Biology, a Master of Sciences in Microbiology, and a PhD titled "The Investigation of Microbial Induced Calcium Carbonate Precipitation for Soil Improvement", all from Northumbria University.
