Biography

Jane is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing. Her research interests lie within consumer behaviour, branding and communications in both B2C and B2B contexts. She specialises in qualitative research approaches.

Jane has worked across several sectors at management level including not-for-profit, military and aerospace engineering, zero/low carbon engineering, and cosmetics. Proficient in the Adobe suite for artwork creation and brand application, Jane has designed and implemented several branding/re-branding activities for SMEs.

Jane has a PhD in Consumer Behaviour, an MA with distinction in Marketing, and a first class BA (Hons) in Design Management and Innovation. She has previously lectured for the CIM at Newcastle College and Gateshead College, and as an Associate Lecturer for Sunderland University and Northumbria University.
