Madelaine Culver-Goldstein (aka Madelaine Culver) is a writer and poet with a background in arts administration. Based in the North East of England, she’s enjoying the region’s vibrant arts scene whilst working for the marketing team at Tyneside Cinema. She has performed at live events in the UK and beyond, including Newcastle Poetry Festival, European Poetry Festival, and Prague Microfestival, and her poetry appears in various places online and in print, including ALIENIST, 3:AM Magazine, Permeable Barrier, and Seen as Read: an anthology of visual, asemic and photo poetry.

In 2020 Madelaine successfully completed the Writing Poetry MA at Newcastle University. In 2021 she joined Northumbria University as a PhD student specialising in intertextual poetics. Incorporating a range of experimental art and poetry practices, her work engages with the affective and ideological dimensions of women-led narratives within post-millennial British horror cinema.
