Mahdi’s research interests focus on decision making under uncertainty and developing computationally efficient modelling and solution methods for mixed integer programmes. He has worked on various applications including healthcare, energy, logistics and supply chain.
Dr. Mahdi Noorizadegan is a senior lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Operations and Supply Chain Management at the Department of Operations, Marketing and Systems. Prior to the current position, Mahdi was a faculty member in Niroo Research Institute, Tehran, Iran. Mahdi did his Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Industrial Engineering in Amirkabir University of Technology, Iran. He received his PhD on Operational Research and Management Science from Warwick Business School and the Centre for Discrete Mathematics and its Applications (DIMAP), the University of Warwick, UK.

He has worked on various applications including operations management, healthcare, energy, logistics and supply chain. He has taught a wide range of courses including Building Business Practice, International Operations Management, Quantitative Research Methods for Management, Operations and Integrated Supply Chain and Marketing Management, Discrete Even Simulation, Optimisation in Economics and Finance and Linear Algebra.
