Biography

Marco Palladino, solicitor and member of the Law Society of Ireland, is one of the few European lawyers qualified in multiple jurisdictions (England and Wales, Ireland, Italian avvocato) and is a doctoral researcher at our Faculty of Business and Law. His principal areas of investigation concern technology law, hate speech legislations, internet intermediary liability, data protection, admissibility of online evidence in civil and criminal trials, and copyright law.

Being also a Master's graduate of Philosophy, Marco dedicated considerable research to the ethics of Alasdair MacIntyre and to American Communitarianism. Currently, his philosophical focus lies on the applicability of Kantian and Rawlsian ethics to lawmaking processes.
