Biography

Marco's expertise focuses primarily on clinical learning environments, mentorship, the organizational transition of newcomer nurses, and the dynamics of work and organizational psychology related to nursing science, nursing environments, and human resources management in healthcare settings. His research vision is multidisciplinary, integrating nursing science with the theoretical and methodological approaches of work and organizational psychology to deepen the understanding of nursing phenomena.

Marco's academic journey includes a Bachelor in Nursing, a Master in Nursing Science, and a Ph.D. in Work and Organizational Psychology. His Ph.D. research project, "Antecedents and outcomes of organizational socialization in new-graduate nurses," highlights his ability to develop and test complex research models. This academic background underpins his broad methodological expertise, including scales validation, Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), biostatistics, and epidemiology.

Throughout his career, Marco has contributed significantly to the field through numerous publications and projects. His research has provided new insights into the motivational dynamics supporting nurses' work-ability at various career stages, the design of mentoring strategies in nursing education, and the adoption of VR technology in nursing care.
