Mr.Neeranjan Chitare is presently an Associate Lecturer and Research Scholar pursuing PhD at Northumbria University, Newcastle, United Kingdom. He is currently exploring various domains with respect to Human Centered Cyber Security. He is a recipient of a global competitive studentship for PhD program 2021-2024 provided by Northumbria University, UK. He was International Scientific Committee Member ICESEE2017, Beijing, China, January 15-16, 2017. His current research work was presented at EUROUSEC 2022 Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany and ITiCSE 2023, Turku, Finland. In view of his current research he has attended National Cyber Security Cente Conference in Manchester, UK, CHI 2022 in the USA and volunteered at SOUPS 2022 in USA.

Before this, he worked as Head, R&D and Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, Nagpur. He has pursued M.Tech in Information Systems and Management from the International School of Information Management, Mysore. He has 10 years of academic and Industry experience. During this tenure, he has been involved in Teaching prominently for Information & Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence and Data Communication.

Additionally has also been active in arranging funded Faculty Development Program as a convener and signing Memorandum of Understanding with IT companies for the benefit of students. He is a designated technical reviewer for three international journals and an international conference. He has many international publications to his credit.

He has twice received the Best Manuscript Award for International Conference, once the Best faculty Award and Best Odyssian Award by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development Initiative, India.  Other academic responsibilities include Academic Advisor-National Cyber Safety and Security Standards (NCSSS), India and Nodal Coordinator-Virtual Labs IIT, Mumbai.

His area of research includes Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Management (Knowledge Economy and Information Society), Cloud computing, Human-Computer Interaction (Cognitive aspects) and Semantic Web, Wireless Network Security, and Impact and Implementation of the internet and its applications in the social aspect.

Apart from this academic journey, he is also the president of TEDx Society at Northumbria University. In this capacity, he was the organizer of the first TEDx international conference in 2022 at the university with speakers from USA, England, and Scotland.
