Personal profile
Biography
I obtained my PhD in Materials Engineering at the University of Exeter in 2018. My project was focused on the synthesis, characterization and application development of new class metal oxides (mainly WOx) nanomaterials for electrochromic technologies. During the project, I have secured funds from Qioptiq Ltd (UK) and worked as a Research Associate in the “Future Smart Display Glass” project. After my PhD, I worked as research fellow on an EPSRC project to develop advanced Phase Change Materials (PCMs) for Thermal Energy Storage (TES) for compact space heating (n-CoSH project, EPSRC EP/P003435/1). afterthat, I also achieved "100 ASEAN talented Young Scientists " Grant from Guangxi University, China. The project focuses on mechanism investigation of metal- oxide in an energy-related application. My current project at Nothumbria University are focused to develop the self-powered electrochromic device. This technology are conbination of photovotic and electrochromic technoloies.
Research interests
My research interests encompass the structure-process-property relationships by nano- and composite materials, with a passion for creating new generation of innovative nanomaterials and composite materials for sustainable and scalable energy technologies. Specifically, I am driven to investigate the area of transition metal oxide and their unique electrochromic properties for smart glass and flexible display technologies. The materials currently under investigation are reaeearth elements doped metal oxide nanomaterials.
