Research interests

My research interests focus on the role of physical activity interventions to improve ageing health and physical function.  I have a particular interest in developing complex interventions to encourage physical activity maintenance in older adults and those completing falls prevention exercise programmes.  My physiotherapy background is in musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation.   Clinically, I have worked within various roles as a senior, extended scope and first contact physiotherapist within NHS, sport and private clinic settings.
