Personal profile

My research focuses on ice-stream dynamics and ice-ocean interaction in Antarctica. I am particularly interested in better understanding physical processes with a view to being able to provide more reliable forecasts of the ice sheet's future. Currently, I am working on the PROPHET project, a part of the Thwaites international collaboration. As a part of this, I am doing large numbers of future simulations of the Amundsen Sea region to provide sea-level rise projections with robust uncertainty estimates using a bayesian uncertainty quantification framework.
