I graduated from Akdeniz University, where I completed my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Space Science and Physics (only Bachelor's degree). My project was on 'Investigation of Coronal loops and Coronal Heating.' During my master's degree, I took part in two projects. One of them was related to the statistical analysis of solar flares, and another one was related to my research topic 'Coronal Loops'. In order to complete some analysis of my research, I have been in Big Bear Solar Observatory for two months. As I enjoyed doing image processing with the amazing solar image data, I decided to search for a Ph.D. position in the same field. Now, I am here and I am currently studying with Dr. Patrick Antolin on coronal rain. In a summary, I am examining the evolution of thermal instability in coronal loops at the high spatial, temporal, and spectral resolution to understand coronal rain.
I am interested in observational and numerical analysis between coronal rain and the hot corona. To investigate this research mentioned above, I am aiming to use coordinated high-resolution observations with 3 instruments. I am also interested in a comparative and detailed analysis between quiescent and flare-driven coronal rain.
