Biography

After completing a BSc in Sport Science, Stuart stayed on to complete an MSc in Applied Sport Science at St. Mary's University College. Stuart then studied for a PhD within the Centre for Sports Medicine and Human Performance at Brunel University before taking up a Research Associate post at Northumbria in February 2011. Stuart began as a Senior Lecturer in October 2012 and was appointed Associate Professor in September 2019. Stuart is the institutional representative for the Physiological Society (https://www.physoc.org/).
