Engagement and Place Awards 2023: Engaging for Cultural Benefit (Shortlisted)

Listen to this story! was one of three projects shortlisted in the 'Engaging for Cultural Benefit' category at Newcastle University's Engagement and Place Awards 2023. The project involved Newcastle University, Seven Stories Collections and Newcastle City Library and wanted to celebrate the history of children's books by and about Black Briton over the last two hundred years.

The awards recognise many innovative collaborations between the University and its external partners. These bring value to the social, cultural and economic wellbeing in our city, region and across the globe.
