My article "Environmental Constitutionalism in China: A Constitution without Constitutionalism?" published in Journal of Environmental Law in 2024 has been awarded Honorable Mention for Richard Macrory Prize for Best Article. The selection committee commented as follows: "This article offers a refreshing and thought-provoking angle on a topic that has received considerable scholarly attention. Bringing in insights from Asian studies, Chinese political economy and Chinese constitutional law, it challenges conventional notions of what environmental constitutionalism does or ought to look like."
