    Abstract

This review has investigated the gap in the literature on utilizing Generative Design tools in the process of 3D Printing (3DP) based Limb Prosthetics (LP) fabrication. From this review, we identify there is great potential to address the leading challenges associated with 3D Printed Limb Prosthetics: Cost and Weight. This emerging technology also has the potential to allow deeper customization of the limb prosthetic to be performed by a technician without professional 3D Modelling training
