Abstract
This afterword to Live Visuals: History, Theory, Practice briefly considers the possibilities for Live Visuals and audio-visual performance after the coronavirus pandemic and makes the case that the already “long history of images becoming alive” illustrates the staying power of the performed image. Without predicting the future, this afterword provides some passing examples of possible futures for Live Visuals and the performed image.
