Abstract
The Basic Income for Care Leavers in Wales Pilot was launched in July 2022.
This report is the first in a series of annual evaluation reports. The report includes findings that will be built on over the course of the evaluation until 2027.
The report aims to:
- use survey and enrolment data to describe the characteristics of recipients of the basic income
- provide an initial programme theory, this describes how the pilot works
- discuss professionals’ views and early experiences of the pilot
