Abstract
The simulated bit error rate (BER) performance of a receiver structure employing wavelet analysis and neural networks in a diffuse indoor infrared (IR) environment operating at 166.6 Mbit/s is presented and discussed. The results are compared with the simulated performance of a zero forcing equaliser system for both baseband OOK-NRZ and OOK-RZ schemes.
