    Abstract

    Bridge Of Spies was originally featured on the album Surf, Spies and Film Noir by Trevor Sewell. It is an instrumental piece inspired by the Glienicke Bridge which was a restricted border crossing between the Eastern Bloc and Western powers (American sector of West Berlin), the Americans and Soviets used it for the exchange of captured spies during the Cold War when it became known as The Bridge Of Spies. This Trevor Sewell composition has now been included on a major Blues compilation entitled 'All about The Blues Volume 3'. The compilation features a host of world famous names including Lightning Hopkins, Howlin' Wolf, Charlie Patton, Taste and Beautiful People featuring Jimi Hendrix. It was released on 14th November 2014. The track was a finalist in the songoftheyear.com competition in the instrumental category - the link is supplied below.
