Research output: Book/ReportBook

Abstract

Building and Land Management Law for student is written for students on technical and degree courses in 'built environment' subjects - building construction, surveying, land management, architecture, quantity surveying, planning. It gives a straightforward and readable account of the main areas of the law that affect the industry and its practitioners, with the emphasis on the practical working of the law. The scope has been widened in this third edition to cater better for students of land surveying and land management. Thus, as well as updating to take account of changes in administrative law, the authors discuss tenancies, dilapidations, licences, agency and the Estate Agent's Act; they also deal more fully with planning, highways and the Building Regulations.
