Abstract

Traditionally, Clinical Legal Education has focussed on the provision of legal assistance to individuals who cannot afford to instruct a lawyer (see entry Clinical Legal Education (for Individuals)). However, there are a growing number of clinical legal education projects where free or low-cost legal advice is given to commercial entities regardless of financial means. They are commonly known as Commercial Law Clinics, however they can also be referred to as Business Law Clinics, Transactional Law Clinics, and Entrepreneurial Law Clinics.
