Abstract
The presentation, delivered at the 2015 Northumbria Research Conference, presented findings from a research project that explored the role of diversion services in supporting offenders with mental health issues and learning disablities. The presentation included policy background, a discussion of current issues, information about the development, delivery and outcomes of diversion services, challenges faced by diversion services and possible future directions.
