Abstract

As Carole Proud points out, community children's nursing is developing rapidly, with the majority of mentors being new to the role. Carole's study of mentors has enabled her to provide a chapter that illuminates how appropriate mentoring can be organised for students from a wide variety of backgrounds and with different prior experiences.
