Abstract

Industry 4.0 technologies have significantly impacted the automotive sector, offering various benefits for SMEs. Nevertheless, these enterprises encounter unique challenges in adopting such technologies, including data and process-related barriers. This research, employing a case study approach, investigates these challenges within the automotive supply chain SMEs. By undertaking a literature review and using Participant observation for primary data collection, the study aims to identify the specific obstacles and uncover novel strategies for addressing them. The research findings will offer valuable insights to decision-makers, ultimately advancing the success of SMEs in the automotive sector through digital transformation.
