Abstract
Presenting discussing the Observatory for Monitoring Data-Driven Approaches to Covid-19 research project which asked 'are young people aware of how data (including their own personal data) has been used during the pandemic and if so, what views do they hold about its use?' This presentation recommends that Government consider both how best it can communicate its proposed policies to young people and how young people's views can about the use of their data can be ascertained and fed into policy. It suggests that a range of methods may be needed and that young people are the best people to recommend which approaches and methods are used.
